The Basic shape has been cut and filed to make the final bracelet shape.
I would suggest that the blank is annealed at this stage. Heat in a gas flame until stroking with a match leaves a brown mark on the metal, cool under the tap. This will soften the metal so that it can be bent more easily when shaping the final Bracelet.
The brass will harden and become more springy when it is polished and when it is bent (work hardening)
The blank is now polished by using finer and finer grades of emery paper, then polishing with metal polish, Solvol Autosol is a very good metal and brass polish
